Clear cached /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi redirect within Chrome on Windows
A right pain in the arse this one is if you check a website before the DNS has propagated or the site has transferred across or there's a problem with the server, etc - and you're redirected to the default Apache web page. Chrome caches this and it's a bummer to get rid of. Clearing the cache doesn't work and nothing you do on the server will do a thing. Here's what to do:
In Chrome, open Developer Tools, then open the Developer Tools > Settings (F1 on Windows).
Find the Network section and click Disable Cache (while Dev Tools is open). Visit the site in question. Close Developer Tools. Sorted.
